A big advantage, in my opinion, is that when I have to pedal through some sketchy areas, I can unclip, pedal, and quickly clip back in. It took me some time to learn how to unclip fast from them. I changed the cleats to the bronze ones, and now they're perfect to use.

I needed a hybrid mountain bike pedal for my new enduro bike. Since I have been using CrankBrother cleats, I had few options. I have been riding with the Crankbrother Candy pedals for a couple of year and I do like them a lot but I wanted a pedal with more platform for my enduro bike since I had planned on entering some enduro races with the bike. These pedals have enough grip on my clipless shoes so when I can't clip in, my feet don't pop off. Overall I loves these pedals and will be replacing my Candy pedals on my trail bike!
