So this works great. I took a small piece of e-tape, folded it up, a used that to stick the plunger into the end of the flux tube. It works perfectly. The flux comes out precisely. It heats quick, cleans the PCB and parts well, and doesn’t smoke much. It seems to work well, very little cleanup ( yes you still need to cleanup) however the plungers it comes with have no o rings on them or rubber ends, so it wiggles around in tube and will fall out if you pick it up without putting your thumb on it.
