## Description

G1 Coated drumheads seamlessly blend bright tone, lengthy sustain, and solid durability to create a high level of playing versatility. Featuring a single ply of 10mil film, the G1 tom head produces an open and expressive sound with a wide tuning range, while the coating delivers additional warmth, focus, and depth. G1 heads have a very balanced attack, long sustain, bright tone, and average durability. This coated drumhead also features Level 360 Technology.

Review: Great heads - These are great! Durable and easy to tune.
Review: Evans G1 drum heads - I’ve found after a lot of experimenting that the Evans G1 drum head is the perfect “go to” if you’re looking for that one head that will get the job done. Works well with maple, walnut, or hybrid shells offering that little bend or decay to the sound. Great feel, response, lively enough to play double strokes. For a little heavier sound, go with Evans G2 coated or clear. They’re good value falling in line price wise or lower with other heads in the same category.
