I have a very clever cat who gives me a paw when asked who i think might enjoy this...?** A: If your cat uses his nose to hunt out treats then it could work. However the pieces are quite chunky so it’s whether he/she is able to flick them out of place to retrieve the food. My dogs tend to lift them with their teeth or paw at until they dislodge. I will see if one of my cats can do it! Perhaps the less robust Trixie brand of dog games might be more suitable for cats as the pieces in some of those are more lightweight and easier to dislodge. **Q: Would a golden retriever be able to use the Twister or would his paws be too big?** A: It is suitable for dogs of all sizes, they use their paws, nose and/or mouth. **Q: Would this be suitable for a greyhound?** A: I expect it would be fine. They're clever dogs but my Labrador enjoys it even though he figured it out quickly. The multi puzzle you are looking at is level 4. I started my gsd on level 1 the dog smart composite toy. It’s a nice large size (our dog is about the size of a Labrador and it’s a great size for him) and it keeps him occupied for ages. I had fallen into a trap of giving our dog a chew each evening (pigs ear, trachea etc) and not only do they smell, they work out expensive and he’s become so good at chewing that he demolishes them in minutes. With this, it keeps him occupied for a good half an hour or more. I have taken to filling it with a bit of dog meat, peanut butter, yogurt etc and then I freeze it so that it takes longer for him to finish. He absolutely loves it. Very happy with it and it’s a nice easy puzzle to solve if your dog is new to puzzling. I bought this for our large, very intelligent German Shepard, he had it worked out within 5 minutes but he still had to work for the peanut butter which I put in the bottom layer. He’s not a dog that’s highly motivated by food so he took out his favourite treats then got bored and left it. He has gone back and forth to it though so good for cognitive stimulation.
