Others have suggested that the images are not sharp... the 9 year old mastered changing the discs, focusing and aiming the projector for an optimal display on her bedroom ceiling. The movement and the intermittent shooting stars make this a great choice for her. That it comes with 13 discs is a nice plus. No remote control is not really an issue. The device has various settings for automatic shutoff. When all things are considered - the variety of views, a nice sharp display with motion and the price - this was a good purchase.
