Once we arrived at our house, I, a bit too loudly, declared I was going to put the stools together. Admittedly, I was just a wee bit tipsy having slightly exceeded my drink limit. My husband, knowing better than to talk me out of it, just shook his head, sat on the couch and turned on football. I spread everything out on the dining room floor, analyzing it all as if I was looking at top secret blueprints. All the pieces and tools needed were there. I took a deep breath, began belting out Christmas songs to myself and the cat and I got to work. Well, let me say, these were a breeze to put together! I was able to get all 4 stools (we bought 2 packs) set up and ready for sitting in less than a half hour. There was no violent arm waving, no head shaking, no swearing and not once did I proclaim what a stupid idea it was to purchase them in the first place because the stools we already had were "perfectly fine." Everything went smoothly, fell into place and better yet, held up. They are sturdy with no wobbling and look great with the table, as they obviously should. No, they aren't the most comfortable, but we don't sit at the table for long periods of time so it doesn't really matter. I do plan on buying cushions for them though. If you are looking for nice looking stools that even someone who may have had a few too many can put together, look no further!
