A: This ice cube mold is easy to release. After taking it out of the refrigerator, it's easier to open by running some water over it first. Then simply give it a twist and the ice balls will quickly release.

**Q: Is it time consuming to fill this large ice cube tray?**
A: Filling ice mold up all at once under the faucet or pour in enough water to fill all the mold. Unlike traditional round ice cube mold that require using a funnel to fill them up one by one.

**Q: Do they make these in 1 1/2"?**
A: I don't think this manufacturer does but I have these, as well some that are approximately 1 1/2 inch so you can definitely find them on Amazon if you put the size in your search term. There are many sizes of ice ball molds. Good luck!

A: About 1-2 inches give or take 1/2 inch

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy ice trays make perfect DOF ice balls

This is the second one we bought as a gift for a friend. They work great! Easy to fill, cubes come out perfectly round. The material the tray is made of is very sturdy, even when it’s freezing (doesn’t become brittle). The cubes frees fast and have a shorter melting time, so they stay frozen longer which is awesome for throwing in a hydration bag for hikes. Fits perfectly in an old fashioned or DOF glass. They stack in the freezer for easy storage. Cubes come out clearer when you use flat distilled water, let it get to room temp, then put in the freezer.
