Nothing magical, but fun anyway. If you see a shape in the cutout that in your mind looks like a thing and trace one, it isn't magically going to look like a realistic drawing of that thing. You'd have to fill in some of your own details. For example, the one that looks like a slice of watermelon, when you get it on paper looks more like swiss cheese. But if you draw a couple of your own extra lines, voila, watermelon! You need some verrrry fine tip pens to get into some of the tiny spaces. If pouncing with paint, you need a verrry small applicator or some washi to avoid accidentally including part of a nearby shape. I've been using a mechanical pencil and tracing them onto junk journal pages or cards for a naive, rustic look. You can do it lightly, then later go over it with darker color pencil or pen if you wish. The only cheaper and better alternative-learn how to draw. ### ⭐⭐⭐ not as sturdy as I would like stencils to be *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2018* The stencils are ok, not as sturdy as I would like stencils to be. Most of these don’t really have a place in bullet journals which is why I give it one less star. These are fun stencils overall but I think the average bullet journal user is probably looking for stencils with more focus on productivity or journaling designs instead, and that’s what I was mainly looking for. ### ⭐⭐ Get What You Pay For *by H***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 16, 2018* These aren't the greatest stencils, but they do the job for a lower price. I suppose, you get what you pay for. They are a flimsy, plastic material & I often have trouble with them moving as I trace (though I'm holding it down) or not being smooth cut-outs. For example, I want to trace an apple, but along the outside of the apple, there is a jagged piece of plastic that sticks out, so now my apple has this odd indent on one side. These are great to get you started. I'd recommend only if you're trying to spend very little.
