Review: Perfect lava lamp - I am so pleased with this lava lamp! It heated up very quickly, within an hour. I purchased the 13" blue colored lamp. The blue is the color of a soft blue, close to a Robin's egg blue. I plan to order another one. I have an original lava lamp that I purchased in the late 60's that still works, so I am hoping that this one will last as long. It came in a well packaged box. Nothing was broken (except the extra bulb) which was no big deal. There were no dents in the base. It was perfect. It looks great in my office, where it fits perfectly in the space near my book shelf. It was very easy to put together. Great ambiance. Please note: I did order the larger one, however it never arrived since it was damaged in route. desertcart refunded my money, then apologized. Great customer service! I just reordered another lamp which arrived within a week! Loving this lamp. Remember this lamp gets very hot! Don't be touching either the base or the glass. It will take several hours to cool after you shut it off. I put mine on a nice wooden base to protect any surface I put the lamp on. Hope you love it as much as I do.
Review: Great visual stim - I’ve been wanting a lava lamp for SO long but finding a SMALL, ORANGE WAX, BLACK BASE lava lamp was not so easy. Mind you, I wasn’t looking that hard, but when I came across this one I ended up getting two. One for my station at work (I’m a hairstylist) and one for my room at home. I’m incredibly pleased. The bulbs do break insanely easy, I broke the bulb that came with it getting the lamp out of the box. So when I ordered the other lava lamp I ordered two more bulbs, and when I was getting the spare bulbs out of the box they came in, one of them fell and broke also! So you might want to just be sitting at a table or something. Also the sticker does not peel off easily! And it’s on the very front, the cord comes out the other side. I didn’t try to get the residue off with goo gone or anything because I didn’t feel like it/I just put another sticker over it, so I’m sure you could get it off with some elbow grease. Although that probably means they intend for it to stay there lol

**Q: There are some are bubbles when i heated up lava lamp, what can i do to wipe out those air bubbles, it is really bad effect on visual show.**
A: Thank you for your question. We are sorry to hear that your lava lamp is experiencing bubbles.

In order to make wax also melted quickly in lower temperature, we mix two wax that melt point are different in lava lamp.   When a small amount of wax with a lower melting point begin to melt first and becomes transparent and colorless lava, like air bubbles.

You can try the following methods to eliminate bubbles: wait for the bulb to cool down and then reheat it, often repeating several times.                Please note that eliminating bubbles may take some time, but it will not have a significant impact on the functionality of the lava lamp.

I am so pleased with this lava lamp! It heated up very quickly, within an hour. I purchased the 13" blue colored lamp. The blue is the color of a soft blue, close to a Robin's egg blue.
