I added a resistor in series to bring them up from 4 ohm to 8 ohm and used the existing crossover in the speaker (not the ones that came with them). I trial ran them a BIT hard for a couple of days, they sounded good and held up well! Its been a few weeks now and those speakers are sounding great in my surround/music system. Because of the reasonable price and quality, I bought a second set because I have other speaker projects and will definitely use these.
