I have used ScandalEyes GREEN and also BLACK and they stay on for many hours - but I dust over them with a powder shadow to dry and settle them. Green pencils do seem to last longer that other shades. for some reason. Whether or not they stay on firmly when swimming would depend upon the wearer's skin - if oily, the pencil might not stay on so well. ScandalEyes pencils are worth a try, though.
