I have tried it out at home in very warm weather it does the job. Saves a walk to the camp site fidege for my cool packs so very happy. Good value. Comparisons with other brands and types of cooler show this model to be efficient and quieter when operating than others.
Review: Essential for small camping trips - Absolute game changer for little camping trips, I found it cooled down to the set temperature on the display very quickly and is plenty room enough for chilling milk, dairy, salad items, plenty for our needs for a week away. Kept it plugged into the leisure batteries which are kept charged when driving through a split charge relay, and never needed to switch it off however in eco mode it's barely drawing any voltage at all. Very glad we bought it in advance of a trip away. Extremely quiet too, didn't even notice it was on, even sleeping at night. Doubles as an extra little seat, too....
