I never liked the 100% silicone ice cube trays out there, because they are so wobbly and flimsy, and usually very small so you hardly get any ice. But regular solid plastic trays are also a nightmare to get the ice cubes out of.These ice cube trays are the perfect middle ground. They are solid plastic, but only the very bottom of the tray is silicone. This makes it the easiest thing ever to pop the ice cubes out once frozen, but the tray itself is still solid and big enough to keep its shape and have plenty of normal sized ice cubes. No hassle whatsoever.These ice cube trays are a normal decent size so you get a lot of cubes, you get 4 stackable trays, and they even come with very easy to attach and remove lids. No weird smells and no hassle. Due to these points, I’m thrilled with the value and the best parts are color variations and the ease of removal. These would serve well for those that need to fill ice trays. They are definitely a little bit smaller than the old trays I have from long ago but I prefer the ice capacity in these since they are a good size.We’ve made homemade creamy green salad dressing, tzatziki gyro sauce, Caribbean sofrito and these are all perishables that take time to make.
