I have a composting toilet with electric fans which I operate through the controller when we are away so the controller will shut those down if there would be some failure in the solar array or a very extended stretch of bad weather that would prevent the battery from charging enough. With lead-acid batteries, especially late in the season, I had to constantly monitor the battery voltage and charge state because the reduced full sun time on my array at that time of year. Simple to understand and the digital display is easy to read. The Bluetooth app is a nice feature so you can keep tabs on the progress without having to go outside and check on it. MPPT does a great job with the charging process. After trying it out for a few weeks, I bought a 2nd one for my remote cabin's solar system.
