Basically it's about the clipping mechanism top & bottom. **Q: Does it Replace opella aqua-shield?** A: yes it will ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent, Bristan Empura Compatible *by E***N on 28 June 2021* Arrived very quickly, simply but well packaged in a heavy guage polythene sleeve and outer Amazon cardboard 'envelope'. No fitting instructions, so - as this was my first filter change for my newish tap - I was a tad alarmed. A quick Google search and Bristan's website (because my tap is the Bristan AR SNKPURE C Artisan Kitchen Sink Tap with 3in1 Operation) provided the instructions I needed to do the job. Even after isolating the water supply, the filter and pipes do retain quite a lot of water! A few towels and a large stew pot helped. Replacing this cartridge will be easier next time, now I know what to do and how to do it. A word of caution about the push fit pipes to filter fittings: push the little ring that is where the fitting joins the filter, towards the pipe. This releases the pipe with just a gentle tug. Otherwise you'll be tugging until you're blue in the face. You probably already know this, but I didn't and I spent quite a while on YouTube... The Bristan instructions that I've mentioned, don't show this as they assume a certain level of knowledge that I just didn't have. In summary: easy to fit, remember the push fit trick, have towels and large container handy, flush through with 20 ltrs before use. Job done.
