Review: Outstanding sound. - Wow! I had no idea this little speaker would sound this good. I cannot comment on battery life just yet but I will update later. The sound quality is just phenomenal for such a small footprint (size of your average mobile phone). I've purchased this for my workplace where it will sit alongside a very noisy machine. I need it to be loud enough to get over the noise of the machine. I'm hopeful but won't know for sure until I've tried it. Again, I will update. Love the styling and the fact that it looks the same in both sides and indeed fires the sound to both ends. Great fully rubberised casing and minimal but functional controls. I'm still not over how great it sounds. Perfect for home use, and hopefully for work use too. Recommended. Update. Battery life was pretty much as advertised. I have to use on full volume due to my workplace so others may get more life than I did. Sadly not quite loud enough for my needs but it is still (just about) audible over a very loud machine. Review: Great Product, Packs a Punch - I ordered this speaker after a lot of research and reading through reviews to replace a rather old portable speaker that I use when on holiday to add a little music to areas as well as using it as a sort of sound bar when using my DLP projector in hotel rooms. I have to say that the sound is absolutely fantastic when you consider it's intended application sure it's not as bassy as a standard speaker but come on it's a portable speaker and for the price and size I think this honestly is as good as it gets. The build quality and appearance of the speaker is spot on, it does say waterproff, I'm not going to test it although it does look and feel like it would stand up to a dunk in water. I will say that I have had the speaker for two or three weeks and am only just writing a review. This is partially down to the fact that I was unable to get the TF card port to work and play music stand alone. However I have since work it out: for anyone that may run into issues with playing music direct from USB or TF card check the Kbps of your tracks, I like higher quality MP3s so in turn all my music is 320kbps turns out that the speaker doesn't like that so convert your music down to 128kbps and away you go everything is working as is should now.

**Q: Does it make sound on start or switching off?**
A: Yes.  There's a beeping "tune" - ascending when it switches on. Descending when it switches off

**Q: Can I take it to the beach vacation? How about the waterproof performance?**
A: IPX7 waterproof (official proof is 1 meter deep underwater for 30 mins), I have tried and it is no problem but do not recommend to soak in water for a long time. So of course, take it to the seaside for vacation, enjoy the time!

**Q: What is the Frequency range of the speaker?**
A: I have no idea but the sound quality is better than my Sony midi system at 50w per channel. However the midi is 15 yrs old and technology has moved on.

**Q: This speaker won't connect to either of my android phones, but it does connect to my laptop.**
A: It connects to my Samsung S10 and my laptop. Read up on the pairing side.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent quality speaker

I was looking for an upgrade on my smaller bluetooth speaker, that wouldn't cost a fortune. After reading many reviews I chanced on the Bogasing M5, and it really is a very good speaker for the money. Build quality seems very good, with a rubberised outer layer, and tough speaker grilles. The connectivity is one aspect that drew me to the M5. I use an old iPod and needed a speaker with an aux socket. This has aux in, TF card slot and USB socket. I have not tried synching it with bluetooth so cannot comment on that. But aux in sounds great. Standing the speaker up gives a decent 'stereo' effect from the drivers on either side of the speaker. Controls work well, though being black on black they're no alway easy to see. Battery life excellent so far, with good 4 LED indicator. And the sound? Very good. There is enough volume and the three audio presets offer enough versatility for my needs. As a bass player I like bass, and this speaker delivers enough bass without it becoming too dominant. Overall I am very pleased with the M5. It does everything I wanted it to, without having spent a fortune.
