Red Dot Fitment: - Vortex Viper - Vortex Venom - Burris Fast Fire 1, 2, 3, 4 - Docter - ADE RD3-001 - ADE RD3-002 - ADE RD3-009 - UTG Reflex Micro Dot - Crimson Trace CTS-1200 - Crimson Trace CTS-1300 - Sightmark Mini Shot - Sightmark Core Shot The mounting screws require a 5/64" wrench and the set screws (when applicable) require a 1/16" wrench. *All ADE mounts require 6-32 x 3/8" screws. Please note: We have found that some red dots commonly found on desertcart such as the UTG and ADE may not hold the same tolerances as the red dots that this mount was initially created to work with. These dots may not fit properly on the posts on the plate. We would recommend either sending the red dot back for an exchange to whichever seller you purchased it from, or open up the holes in the bottom of the red dot to accommodate the pins.

Review: Fits perfectly...After a little adjustment - There are several remarks that say it does'nt fit...but you need to read the instructions. It says have a gunsmith install it. It's not truly a drop in fit. I was able to measure the dovetail in my Kimber and measure the dovetail on the mount and found the mount was about 3 to 5 thousands inch too wide. It took me about 5 minutes with a small triangular jewelers file to CAREFULLY and SLOWLY remove just enough off of one of the sides of the dovetail on the sight to fit in the slot on the Kimber. I took my time and measured and checked about 5 times as I slowly filed. I tapped it in with a rubber mallet (on a wooden block) and it fits and looks perfect. Excellent product. I'll be installing a Burris Fastfire when it arrives and will update after I shoot it.

I wanted to mount a vortex venom on my 1911. I will eventually get the slide milled to except the red dot, but with all the craziness in the world right now, the lead time to get it done is too long. This was a cheap alternative to get the red dot mounted in the mean time.
