After a bit of practice it is quick to get on and off. Feels sturdy and the bikes are secure. Great product for the price. Only downside is that the metal hooks on the straps rely on having wide enough panel gaps, which may not always be the case. They are also hard metal, so could easily damage paintwork if you are, for example, sliding them along because they don't fit in the gap.
