Review: Not mad at it, pretty solid, does its job - Was fully expecting to be raging against the machine as everyone knows they were probably talking about a printer most of the time, but I’m not mad at this one yet. I’ve been able to copy, scan, print from my phone on the app which once I updated has worked perfectly I didn’t even know that was an option when purchased but I’m happily surprised with it. Haven’t had a paper jam yet, and I’ve been putting both thick cardstock and paper thin regular stuff in it, so versatile in that respect. have probably done about 50 pictures printed so far and haven’t run out of ink so it’s been worth its money so far, I don’t think I’d have paid more than $85 for it but at this price it’s worth it. The noise level is what I expected, not super silent but also not deafening, and I do appreciate that it hasn’t decided to turn its self on or off randomly and make noises at 3am like my last one, so it’s not possessed yet. I’ve never met a printer I loved but this one isn’t making me mad yet.
Review: Great for my classroom daily use - I'm a teacher and use this almost every day. I had the epson eco tank in my classroom since last school year but I needed one that printed auto on both sides and faster too. I love it. Prints quickly, works great I havent had any connectivity issues at all. This is because I use the USB. The color quality is average (not a big deal for me. The size is great. It's compact but does a lot of what the big ones do. No paper jams so far either. Worth every $$$

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can the Alexa feature be turned off?**
A: Yes, but this printer eats printer cartridges like there's no tomorrow. Not a good printer

**Q: Does it require a subscription of some sort to continue printing, you know like the one HP has?**
A: No. Maybe that’s more with corporate printers. The only thing you’ll need to buy additionally is ink. If you do lots of printing, I think you can pay an affordable monthly fee to Amazon and they’ll ship you ink when you’re in need. Hope this helps:-)

**Q: Can a paper feed tray be adjusted to fit smaller than 8.5x11 paper?**
A: Yes

**Q: Will this work off a mobile hotspot?**
A: yes

### ⭐ Huge Step Backwards
*by J***E on October 23, 2024*

Purchased this after my WF-3540 finally died. This is a disappointing step backwards in capability for the price. Printing is at best "fine". Getting good color matching / saturation has been a challenge but otherwise acceptable for general things like labels. Despite the confusing documentation (at the time of purchase), this does not do double-sided scanning. This makes using the ADF for multi-sided documents basically pointless. This will be my last Epson. UPDATE - Months have passed and I'm moving it from 2 to 1 star. The ink cartridges run out quickly and are expensive to replace. The ADF jams constantly on scan jobs. The paper pull from the main cassette pulls multiple pages at a time. On top of all that, when using this with a WiFi connection to your network only, the amount of times that it losses connectivity but thinks it is still connected is constant, and/or assigns itself a local IP address instead of getting one from DHCP results in having to cycle power to get it back working. Trash printer.
