Now, I have these installed on velux windows that are at 45 degrees - pretty much the worse angle for tension - and the windows are often open a bit - so lots of wind force hitting them. While the velcro works 90% of the time, when it gets a bit windy they do come down. Granted this issue is very *very* specific to me... but I fixed it by taking out the screw on the velcro suction pad, and just screwing the suction pad directly to the blind - circumventing the velcro. Now a hurricane can hit them and they don't budge! TL;DR: These are great. No more light filtering through. Great product! Only reason it's one star down is the sticky velcro... I think it's adhesive dried out and crumbled. So it didn't stick... Best to have a reliable sticky velcro brand. Don't use the suction cups.
