These pedals are based on a discontinued range of pedals from a reputed manufacturer which were quite a bit more expensive. The flavour of this pedal is obviously Orange and with some tweaking will get you fairly close to that sound. I found it sounded closer when used with a Marshall amp on the edge of break-up. Used solely as an overdrive into any amp it will sound fine. They can also be used directly to a PA or recording set up, they have a cab sim built in for this purpose - you cannot change this. I have never used mine for that purpose.
