Definitely not reference headphones, they have too much bottom end in them. So if you're looking for studio reference cans and it's important to you, these might not be good for you, HOWEVER... if you just need a good pair of headphones, sturdy, well made, then these are great! I do use them in a radio studio and find them great for what I need. They have potential to outlast my Senheiser cans. They come with two cables, one 1/4" and the fill 1" cables so no need for adapters. All in all, I really like these, just a small shame they aren't reference as advertised.. otherwise I'd definitely recommend them!!
