It's he equivalent to cartridge paper. It is smooth as opposed to course but still a thick good quality albeit less than coarse cartridge paper, so it's great for colouring pencils and sketching. The pages are easily torn out, colours and shading glide on smoothly. Overall a great product and good value for anyone who likes to sketch or colour.
