It is very difficult to see that in the photo - I think that is because of lens distortion and the shiny surfaces. Or it could be that I have a different part. Mine is a Deflecto DGT36. I have to say that an offset along the long axis would have been helpful to me because it would have made it easier to clear the electrical box that was installed for the microwave. Again, mine is offset to the back but not offset from left to right.
