The directions came with list of materials, large pictures and precise directions. I am a 75 year old female and I had no trouble assembling, sliding the support under my queen size adjustable mattress, and threading the attached belt under the queen size mattress and attaching it to the other side of the bed frame. There was plenty of length on the belt with a large amount left over so I am sure it would have also been long enough for a king size mattress. The belt grip was easily tightened and all has held steady w/o slippage for the weeks it has been attached. I also purchased the led light w/bag. It is set to automatic and faces toward the outer side of the bed. It lights up when my husband gets into bed and turns off in 60 seconds. He is glad to have it to light his getting into bed. There was a one year warranty that I emailed to the company. Sara Lindergh the owner of the company has reached out twice by email to kindly check on the purchase. I and my husband are very pleased with the product, the assembling, and the quality/endurance of the railing.
