The full sized keys are 'touch sensitive' which enables the more experienced player to add great expression to their playing but importantly the facility can be switched off for complete beginners as they start to learn. To help beginners there is a built in interactive teaching system that evaluates your playing as you learn to play at your own speed the 100 built in well-known songs starting with learning each hand separately then playing together.The AXP25 has an amazing variety of 300 different voices to choose from including pianos, brass, strings, wind, drums and special effects all with switchable DSP to add effects to the sounds. It also has 200 backing styles that allow you to play your favourite songs with an easy to use accompaniment system including One Touch Settings that can be played with just one finger You can even record your performances to listen to later. We have been very happy with it so far, it does everything he needs it to and has a lot of features that he and his 5 year old brother like to try out. No problems with the service. Some reviewers had complained that the power pack/plug was missing on delivery, I found mine wrapped up in the polystyrene protectors (after thinking it was missing also), so check the packaging carefully. There has been no issues either with packaging or the product. Both my daughter and myself are learning to play piano on this . This one is a good buy for the price . The keys are working fine and the sound quality is good. It is a bit annoying that one has to reach out at the back of the keyboard each time to access the control panel for on/off and inserting the headphone. Apart from that everything else seems to be working fine . I am still trying out the different features and will update my review if necessary.The stand is a fairly simple one . Easy to assemble and seems quite sturdy. However I would have liked a base on top just to make it more stable . It doesn't wobble though but there is nothing that can secure the keyboard to it as an extra protection. However if you are not constantly moving the keyboard around I guess it is good enough to just stand there 😁.The headphone is quite big and the sound quality is okay. Doesn't hurt my ears but I usually practice in the morning . So I rarely wear it . But when I did it worked alright.Important information: the adaptor is nestled inside one of the four thermocol corner protectors. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Keyboard OK but the rest of the kit is less than satisfactory *by D***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 1 November 2019* As I already use a very satisfactory Axus D2 piano, I selected the AXP25PK kit as a present for an 8-year old granddaughter who has just started learning to play. Perhaps the expectations were too high but the experience so far has been very disappointing. When unpacked, the mains adaptor was found to be missing; Amazon could not send one so I had to spend another £10 buying one. On arrival, the height adjustment lever on the stand was broken leaving a sharp plastic edge - but that is the least of the problems with the stand. It is wobbly and flexible to the extent that the keyboard bounces up and down and backward and forward even with gentle use. The stand will have to be thrown out and replaced as it is really beyond fixing.
