It is very robust yet stylish and represents good value for money, so I thoroughly recommend it. **Q: is this kettle quiet ?** A: hi, it's a hard question to answer as it's relative to what you're used to. it's not the quietest but I've found it no noisier than any other quick boil kettles. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Proper Metal Kettle *by J***S on 26 August 2023* It’s is absolutely worth the extra money to get a robust metal kettle rather than a plastic one where things easily break and it gets external scale build up that is hard to remove. The lid is not automatic, but I have arthritis and find it ok to lift off. The kettle is slightly heavier I guess than a plastic one, but not so much that I have noticed, but it may be something to consider. I love the beautiful spout which is narrow at the top and gives a very exact pour, which is useful if you have problems with hands (me), tremors, shaking (me) or muscle spasms (me). I am expecting that this will last longer than 9-11 months of use. Great design and colour. Definitely recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You want to watch it boil *by J***E on 6 October 2023* The media could not be loaded. This is such a beautiful kettle I really do want to sit and watch it boil! It boils quickly. It has a lovely gentle purring noise as well. My video makes it sound louder than it is. The spout is narrower at the end than my last kettle so you can really direct the flow of the water when you pour. It is really gleaming and looks robust. The red is so shiny you can see your reflection in it. Lid glides off easily. Best kettle I’ve had and worth the money. Everyone admires it! I looked at another review about the lid falling in and this is not true for mine. I could not force the lid down if I tried. It must have been updated.
