Review: Skeptic Turned Believer! - I was so disappointed when I noticed my diamond stud earrings had etched the glass of my new iPhone 5S that I'd had no more than one month that I was desperate for a remedy. I searched online endlessly and was very skeptical about all the remedies posted, including this one. My friend mentioned to me that she used this product on a fairly deep scratch on her iPhone glass and she was very happy with the results, so after a week of hmm'ing and haw'ing, I went ahead and purchased it, figuring since my scratches weren't nearly that deep (or so I thought), that I'd get great results. The first couple rounds with this product I really didn't see any progress. Turned out what I thought were just minor surface scuffs from my earrings were cuts or scratches deeper than I thought. I almost gave up, but the key really is patience. Between tasks at work I'd apply a few more drops and buff away. It took a good 45 minutes total, but the results have been fantastic. I can barely see the scratches at this point (I really have to hold my phone at just the right angle in just the right light to see them), I'm sure if I were to apply the product a few more times I wouldn't see them at all, but I'm very happy with how it's turned out at this point. The key to this product is patience, using the right cloth, putting a little elbow grease into it, and do not expect results within the first few applications, you WILL need to go at this for a while, but all in all I highly, HIGHLY recommend this product, and I was as skeptical (if not more) as they get. To add: This product will remove the oleophobic(??) coating, but that is to be expected if you're trying to "remove" (ie: fill in) scratches. Is it really noticeable? No. Trying to clean fingerprints once a bit of that coating was removed was a non-issue for me as my goal was just to get the scratches reduced as much as possible and put a screen protector on.
Review: Does Not Remove big Scratches - This stuff is at beast a marginal product. I used this on a deep scratch on an 4th gen iPad. It reduced the visibility of the scratch but did not even come close to removing it. It seems to be a more effective cleaner than scratch remover. If you have some small surface scratches / scuffs this might removed them but don't expect it to remove any large scratches.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ the only review you need really
*by J***S on January 4, 2007*

i never did enjoy reading long reviews so i'll get straight to the point. idrops works but like all stratch removers it needs time and many applications. 5-10 for minor stratches, 15-20 for medium, and 20+ for deep ones... don't worry this bottle can literally do a thousand applications... the cloth you use with idrops is VERY important... i recommend the eyeglass microfiber cloth... about 1.50 at walmart... i tried using soft tissue paper and it actually added more scratches... okay, the actual process is... 1. use 2-4 drops at a time on the screen 2. take your microfiber cloth and with SLOW and HARD PRESSURE go across the screen 3. do this for about 15 seconds and STOP (after that time it starts to dry up and the dry idrops actually starts to sratch your screen) 4. its important to remember that when you redo the steps again that you use a different part of the cloth cause the dry part restratches it. okay now thats about it, it seems a bit nit-picky but hey thats what it takes. you might end up running out of room on your cloth to apply idrops so just wash it with hot water throughly and wring it and throw it in the microwave for a minute and go at it again. make sure its dry. it could be a whole hour before you finally finish especially with deep stratches. idrops looks like it makes your stratches a little more faded each time. well thats all i got. enjoy your new looking screen. God Bless
