I’ve been searching for an affordable way to do Nordic curls, especially with the recent popularity of the knees-over-toes method driving up prices. This strap is a fantastic, budget-friendly solution! It allowed us to easily convert our regular flat bench into a functional Nordic curl station, which has been a game-changer for our home gym setup. Before getting this strap, I had been manually holding down my daughter’s ankles during curls, and it was always tricky to find the right amount of pressure without causing discomfort. Now, we just adjust the strap to a comfortable tension, and it’s much easier for her to focus on her form. It’s so much more consistent and comfortable than trying to guess how much to lean down! Another great thing is how quick and easy it is to use. Strapping someone in or out takes only a few seconds, and if you’re flexible enough, you might not even need a partner, though having someone assist can help for beginners. While you could use other straps, the padding on this one really stands out. It’s surprisingly comfortable and supportive for the price, which makes it well worth the investment. If you’ve been struggling to find an inexpensive solution for Nordic curls, I highly recommend giving this a try.

The belt works, it does not stretch, and holds my legs against the bench for nordic curls fine. I do have to use a hand towel under the strap as it is too thin and cuts into my skin if used alone. But it was cheap, and it is convenient, and it does work. Worth the money.

I used it with a bench. Unfortunately, the gap between my doors and floor at home are too large to use strap there.

I just started putting nordic curls into my training. They are harder than they look. I tried to use the sofa and even my Roman chair but the discomfort and weird angles weren't working. I ordered this so I can use my arms as support near the bottom of the curl which isn't something I could do with the Roman chair. Also, using this put me at a door where I also happen to have a hanging resistance band that helps me with progressing through the movement. The strap is not the most comfortable thing around but I'm not sure you'll find much better. The movement lends itself to a lot of pressure on the ankle area. I feel that that the strap helps spread that out and it doesn't cut into my skin like the sofa edge was doing. The only area of concern is the stitching. The strap buckle feels secure and has not slipped and is cross stitched. But the stitching on the adjustment strap side is single stitched (see pictures). Although I am not suspended off the ground, I don't trust single stitched straps too much. I'm hoping the limited and mostly static motion of my ankles won't cause any premature wear. I'll update if it does. The other stitching concern is the end of the adjustment strap. It would have been better if it was stitched instead of burnt. I have seen burnt straps end start to unravel after some use and this one is already a little frayed. Docked a star for the stitching. Overall, pretty good strap for those trying to accomplish the exercise at home.

Great idea, but it does not work well with a regular size bench because if you strap your ankles to one end of the bench, your whole chest neck and head are off the other end, making it very difficult to do a Nordic curl.
