Is the dripper made of plastic or ceramic?** A: The dripper is plastic and mine developed visible cracks / craze lines running from the top of the funnel to the bottom after about 6 months of daily use. It’s never been run through the dishwasher, **Q: I am undecided between this set OR Hario V60 decanter OR just go with Hario stainless steel dripper on top of my mug. Does anybody has opinion?** A: The nice thing about this set, versus the other two you mention, is versatility. With the decanter, it is basically one, solid unit that you have to bring out every time you make coffee. With just the dripper, you are limited by the size of the cup. I really like the fact that the server set allows you to make just enough for your mug OR a bit more to share (or feed a caffeine addiction). So, the server set gives you more options for use than the others. And, of course, it works as simply and expertly as advertised. **Q: Is the coffee server included made of glass?** A: The server is made of glass. But, why brew in plastic in the first place? This product is great! I only wish I got the V60 in glass also which they do make... I did not realize it was plastic. **Q: How many cup of coffe can you make with this Server Set?** A: If you fill it to where it says 5, that is about 24oz, in Japan I suspect a serving is between 4 or 5 ounces, you could add a little more. I bought the Hario grinder also and together you can make a strong cup of coffee ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality *by J***N on 26 May 2020* There is an art to making coffee with this setup that I am yet to master. Each cup tastes better than the last, but any error is my own and nothing to do with the pour over kit. It looks and feels high quality, and is very easy to clean. I recommend that those who have given the kit a bad review go away and learn how to use it properly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic *by M***M on 10 May 2020* It's brilliant, but although it has cup sizes on the side totalling 5, it holds a little over 2 average mugs, or one extra large mug as shown in my photo. Instruction booklet is in Japanese but the pictures and numbers make it easy enough to decipher, including how long to microwave it to reheat, as there are no metal parts. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ My first hario *by S***. on 1 August 2021* I'm a complete beginner at drip coffee. Frankly, all of my test using this wasn't very good (wrong coffee grind, ratio etc.). I'm rating this 4 stars just because I think I bought the right one for the price.
