Review: Awesome robot vacuum! - So this is the first robot vacuum I've purchased and didn't know what to expect. I really needed something to help me keep up with hard floors. We live in a 3500 square foot home. Entire upstairs is carpet, entire downstairs is vinyl flooring. The downstairs usually needs more attention so the bot stays down there plus its better on hard floor than carpet. The suction hole is massive and doesn't have a roller which makes it superb on hard flooring but not so great on carpet. Its a sleek slim design and has no trouble maneuvering under and around furniture. Some reviews say it gets stuck under things but if you just give him a second to maneuver he'll work himself out of it. Its easy to set up. Heads up, it comes turned off, make sure you turn it on before charging and never turn it off or it'll lose any settings you've added. There's an easy app to control him and a remote. The dust storage bin is adequate, easy to empty, and can go several days without emptying. Does a great job mapping and navigating, functions in a zigzag pattern which gives awesome coverage. Has these two little sweepers on the front making him strangely resemble a crab, but gives him the ability to get edges very well. Never had any issues with him missing anything. Great sensors, never noticed him bumping into anything. Battery life is great, returns to base when he needs a charge. Haven't used the mop function yet, but I'll update when I do. All in all a great bot vacuum. High power suction and gets the job done. Also comes with lots of replacement items, filters, brushes and such. Only took a second. The instructions don't specify if you can add cleaner to the container so we started with water to test him out. At first we didn't think he was doing anything. The floor was absolutely dry directly behind it. So I changed the water for a eucalyptus distilled water and sure enough we started smelling the scent, a good sign it was working. Let him run his route and when finished the mop pad was disgusting and the floor was clean. Doesn't sop the floor with water and it's completely dry right after it passes. No leaks. The only con is the water container. There's no way to open it to let it dry out. Just a small hole to fill and empty so I do worry about mildew building up. Other than that, he did a great job mopping and I'll be using this feature at least every few days

I had no issues setting up the device, and it performs very well. It effectively picks up cat hair and litter and transitions smoothly between carpet and hardwood floors. The automatic recharging feature and self-guidance are convenient. Overall, I think it was a worthwhile purchase. So this is the first robot vacuum I've purchased and didn't know what to expect. I really needed something to help me keep up with hard floors. We live in a 3500 square foot home. I’ll start with the good Pros: 1. Affordable Price The price of this robotic vacuum cleaner is unbeatable compared to other well-known brands. It may be cheaper on other sites, but the Amazon customer service convinced me to pay a little extra. 2. Quiet Its, so I can work and take calls without being disturbed. 3. Low Height It can easily go under my couches Measure and compare heights before buying. 4. Dual Brushes Having two brushes allows the vacuum to clean dirt near the floorboards without scratching 5. Sensors The sensors are not too sensitive, which is good for cleaning near floorboards. 6. Mopping Function It holds enough liquid to mop my 3 bedroom and does a great job cleaning the floors. 7. Large Dustbin I can do multiple cleanings before needing to empty the dustbin. Just make sure to check the suction chamber before each cleaning. 8. Long Running Time On a full charge, the vacuum runs for about 75 minutes. Using the max function may reduce the running time. 9. Strong Suction The suction is great for hardwood and tile floors, but not as effective on thin rugs. It may hold onto larger items that can't fit into the dustbin. 10. Convenient Remote The remote is easy to use, and the robot follows commands well. 11. Spot/Edge Functions The spot and edge functions work well for cleaning specific areas and edges of the room. 12. Rug Compatibility The vacuum can easily transition from hardwood/tile to rugs, but may push up rug corners if it hits them. 13. Cord Management Make sure to secure cords against the wall to prevent the vacuum from getting stuck. 14. Excellent Customer Service The seller provided great customer service and resolved issues promptly, making the purchase worth it. Cons: 1. Lack of Virtual Wall The vacuum does not have a virtual wall feature and may fall off stairs. 2. Random Cleaning In larger spaces, the vacuum may not pick up all debris, especially under furniture. 3. The auto home feature does not work when the robot is is the next room Additional Notes: This vacuum works well on hardwood and tile floors, and the spot cleaning function is useful for tough spots. Consider the height of the vacuum when choosing a model to fit under furniture. Overall, I would buy this vacuum again, but keep an eye out for new models from iLife in the future.
