I was diagnosed with rotator cuff tendonitis and malfunctioning muscles. I was in a bit of a state. A cluster of private physio appointments got me moving again but 30 minutes a few times a week is not going to be enough to fix me or keep me from seizing up again. I wanted something that would help me self manage daily. I was amazed at how helpful the block has been at getting into the nooks and crannies of my shoulder. Parts that would have been difficult to reach otherwise. I have been able to reduce/release the overall tightness in my shoulder and upper back and I have only been using it for two days. I have also been doing yoga and have already noticed an improvement in movement and the depth of stretch I can achieve after having used the Rad block. It might appear a little over-priced at Β£65 but I was paying Β£55 per physio session, so I believe this block is going to save me hundreds in the long run. You could also do a similar set up with a yoga block and peanut ball for a fraction of the price, which I have tried, but this block is specifically designed to hold the balls and works much better than a yoga block and loose ball. There are enough videos on youtube showing you how to use the block. They also have streaming videos that can be purchased on the Rad website, which I think this is pretty poor/greedy/unfortunate as we obviously need to know how to use the block! But regardless, I am very chuffed with the relief I have achieved with this purchase so far. Review: Rads Rounds a worthwhile purchase - I bought these to help with Plantar Fasciitis symptoms. These came after I had already began doing stretches. I wasn't sure the balls would add anything extra. I still used them though and happily I was wrong. I use them on my feet and they have been great. I was massaging my feet before the balls arrived and Rads Round balls have done such a great job, they reach depths my fingers cannot reach. Thanks for this product, my feet are getting better and these items are playing their part with my rehabilitation. ## Features - Precision Targeted Relief: Get into those tight spaces and hard-to-reach muscles with the RAD Rounds Myofascial Release Balls, designed to deliver focused deep tissue massage. - Silicone Comfort: Made from smooth, glide-friendly silicone that ensures pain relief without irritation, allowing for effective muscle tension release. - Travel-Ready Size: Compact and portable, this set of 3 therapy balls is perfect for on-the-go use, fitting easily into your gym bag or suitcase. - Myofascial Release: Alleviate tension and strain in key areas like the back, jaw, forearms, and feet, promoting overall muscle wellness and flexibility. - Accelerate Recovery: Enhance mobility and reduce muscle soreness with consistent use, making these balls essential for rapid post-workout recovery and long-term muscle health. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B015WNWH3W | | Benefits | Myofascial Release, Wellness Awareness | | Best Sellers Rank | 86,445 in Health & Personal Care ( See Top 100 in Health & Personal Care ) 201 in Massage Balls | | Brand | RAD | | Brand Name | RAD | | Colour | Green, Blue, Black | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 out of 5 stars 1,754 Reviews | | Form Factor | spherical balls | | Is Product Cordless | Yes | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 12.7L x 5.1W x 5.1H centimetres | | Item Nype Name | RAD Rounds (Targeted Release For Tight Spaces) by RAD Roller | | Item Weight | 7 Ounces | | Item weight | 7 Ounces | | Manufacturer | RAD | | Manufacturer Part Number | RR-1030 | | Massage Therapy Technique | Rolling | | Massager Form | Massage Ball | | Material | Silicone | | Material Type | Silicone | | Model Name | RAD Rounds I | | Model Number | RR-1030 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Speed Control | | Power Source | manual | | Power source | manual | | Product Grade | Home | | Specific Uses For Product | Plantar Fasciitis, Hands, Feet, Jaw | | Style Name | Modern | | Target Use Body Part | Back | | UPC | 793283000125 | | Unit Count | 1 count | | Use for | Back | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | ## Product Details - **Brand:** RAD - **Colour:** Green, Blue, Black - **Item weight:** 7 Ounces - **Massager form:** Massage Ball - **Material:** Silicone - **Power source:** manual - **Product dimensions:** 12.7L x 5.1W x 5.1H centimetres - **Special feature:** Speed Control - **Specific uses for product:** Plantar Fasciitis, Hands, Feet, Jaw - **Use for:** Back ## Images ![RAD Rounds Set of 3 Massage Balls - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61WaFElts4L.jpg) ![RAD Rounds Set of 3 Massage Balls - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81Yp3+5tAIL.jpg) ![RAD Rounds Set of 3 Massage Balls - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81hM14QSsZL.jpg) ![RAD Rounds Set of 3 Massage Balls - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71yfgVCFFPL.jpg) ![RAD Rounds Set of 3 Massage Balls - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81ZkJW7hw5L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Set** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Are there instructions w rad rollers?** A: Yes there are!....All the RAD products come with an instruction manual ;) **Q: Anyone use these for face rolling like the Yamuna Face Ball?** A: The small black ball works well for the jawline **Q: Are these the same quality as the "yoga tune up balls"? how do they compare? how are these different from a lacrosse ball? differences? thx!** A: No idea what yoga tune up balls are... but I do know these feel a lot better than a lacrosse ball. I used to use a tennis ball until I found these. I tried these and some other brand, but the different densities on these are excellent. If you get this set and two peanut shaped balls from the same company (I recommend blue for the peanuts) you'll be able to work on all parts of your body. My bare minimum travel pack is the green ball and a blue peanut (double roller or whatever rad calls them). **Q: How firm is the blue one? Like a lacrosse ball? Or like a racquetball? Or something else?** A: All are the same firmness: not as firm as a lacrosse ball, but harder than a tennis ball. Like those bouncy balls you can buy in the vending machines at the grocery store. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big improvement after only a few uses *by C***S on 8 February 2021* I bought this Rad release kit to ease my shoulder.
