**Q: How long does this product remain active for? How long can i store it?**
A: I'm not sure how long it remains active for. I kept the bag inside a metal storage box to keep keep it fresh and keep mice away. The 2kg  bag lasted my 2 hens 11 months giving them a heaped teaspoon everyday, they really enjoy it and would eat it before their layers pellets.  It smelt just the same at the end  of the bag as when it was opened, very yeasty!

**Q: Can this be fed to chickens separately from the layers pellets, or does it need to be added to the pellets? Thanks**
A: Hello

I have been using Bokashi bran for many years but always add it to the pellets. I also sprinkle it in the bedding as it reduces the ammonia smell that tends to occur. The hens then scratch around and eat it too. Hope this helps!
