The logo is sewn onto the front. The tag also says north face. The material is like a matte black compared to other coats I have purchased. The fur on the hood is very soft. It's got a zipper on the hood so you can actually take the fur off if you don't wanna wear it. There are locking draw strings on the hood as well. Pockets zip up so I don't lose my keys or phone. I do wish it had a hidden pocket on the inside. I can't complain about it at all. I did order a large because I plan to lose more weight before next winter. I'm 5'0 180 lbs it does zip up but it's just a tad tight. I wouldn't be able to wear a medium,but an xl might be a little big for next winter. The fur looks exactly like in the picture so will not be using it. It’s NOT like a super soft rabbit fur and has a very obvious faux look to it so if you really care about that part this isn’t the jacket for you. Otherwise, it’s exactly what I need for a MI winter. I’m 5’2” 120lbs and got a size small - will be able to fit a sweater underneath without feeling like Michelin man.
