## Description

Review: It helps my parrots when they start picking feathers - My African grey parrots pluck out some of their feathers about twice a year, the vet thought it was due to hormones since one is female and the other is male. I tried another Aloe Vera spray product, but it soaked them and they hated being sprayed. This spray is like a mist, and they actually enjoy being sprayed twice a day. It also doesn't have a strong smell like the other products, which means less fragrance which can be irritating. It seems to really help. My 3 parrots also enjoy taking a shower with me on their shower perches every day. After the shower, they get misted with this. Update: My red-breasted cockatoo was starting to feel left out when the African greys get sprayed, so I also spray a little on his chest which makes him happy. My greys stopped plucking a couple of days after I sprayed them twice a day. No more feathers in the bottom of the cage, they look better and seem more content.
Review: As a product for birds - The mist from this product is so fine that it does not get past my bird's feathers to his skin, (which seems to be itching him), so it doesn't really work for my purpose. Might work for a bird who had plucked himself bare, however.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It helps my parrots when they start picking feathers

### ⭐⭐ As a product for birds
*by J***L on December 30, 2013*

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ soother keeps our doves feet & toes clean
*by G***Y on December 15, 2012*

Our vet recommended the soother topical spray several years back to keep our doves sore toes clean. I have used it daily. I dip a q tip in a the clear spray cap cover filled with just enough soother for that cleaning session. I DO NOT USE THE SPRAY NOZZLE BECAUSE IT IS MESSY & gets all over the birds feathers. I repeat dipping the q tips in the soother until doves toes & feet are thoroughly clean. I check his feet through out the day to keep them clean of droppings, etc. If I HAD NOT TAKEN OUR DOVE TO THE VET & HAD HIS SORE TOES TAKEN CARE OF INFECTION WOULD HAVE DONE HIM IN. He is 19 years old & thanks to our competent vet he is happy & free of pain. I use this soother on his sore toes & feet several times every day. After losing several of our avian pets to incompetent vets we have found a wonderful on the ball avian vet in Kathy Johnson-Delaney DVM of Kirkland,Washington
