Product Description This RoadHawk DC-2 is a forward facing camera, which is offering 1080p resolution (scale-able to 720p or 480p for longer record times), low light sensor, GPS receiver, G-force sensor, SDXC memory compatibility and image stabilisation. The camera works on a loop recording system, overwriting the oldest files as it records. If the camera detects an impact, the file system creates an ‘event’ file. Event files are not overwritten unless they exceed 30% of the capacity of the memory card, at which point the oldest file will be overwritten first. Options include: GPS antenna, remote event trigger, alarm output trigger (to fit many tracking systems), locking box,suction mount and SD Card (Maximum capacity 128GB). Box Contains RoadHawk camera, 5m power cable with aux plug, 8GB memory card, selection of window mounts, window cable clips, manual, software CD, USB SD card reader

Having recently returned a BlackVue, I could not be happier with this. Get it out the box, install SD card, plug in and its done! No messing around, the software works really well on my mac and the picture quality, GPS and G-sensor are great. Great build quality and you get the feeling this is a UK product (even though its made in China), no dodgy english in the instruction manual and a few different types of windscreen mount.I have the DC1 in another vehicle and I'm very happy with it, I tried the BlackVue to get an HD cam cheaper but its honestly not worth it, pay a bit more and you get more value for your money with this DC2.I leave the unit in place, never remove it and I use this all over London.

I would not recommend this product.Bought in late 2016, it began failing to turn on soon after purchase. Customer Service unimpressive.Soldiering on with it for now as the actual quality of video seems pretty good. BUT it fails to turn on most mornings at start-up and I have to remember to unplug it and re-power it in order to get it to turn on. Poor.

I bought 2 and it works fine in just few weeks. I keep having this camera or sd card error message which is really annoying. One of the item did not even switch to on, no green light and no voice. Tried different sd card but the same. Both camera with same issue well I can see a bad product here!
