Now I do not do any entertaining but I got this for Christmas as my sister and brother-in-law are coming down and he likes a bevy or two so I thought it would be convenient to save going to the kitchen all the time. It will I am sure suit us very well for the purpose but I don't know if it would stand up to heavy partying especially using an ice scoop as opposed to ice tongs?
