T9 tube is 1.125 inches in diameter. T5 tube is 0.625 inches in diameter. This will cause a problem with securing clips etc, at least. **Q: what are the actual dimensions of the bulb please - diametre off the space? I need a 22w bulb with 15cm diametre hole, the tube is approx 17mm** A: Those are the dimensions, as nearly as I could measure. It would be helpful if they were quoted, wouldn't it? Hope this helps. **Q: has the connector got a bit of give to rotate slightly as the connector on my magnifying glass sits ontop of the bulb location?** A: it can rotate round slightly but not side to side **Q: Is this an equivalent to the sylvania circline fc 22w/129 model?** A: Hello,This would work but is a daylight colour rather than the warm white you have there. The exact equivalent is this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B004P19HCMRob (General Lamps) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does what it says *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 16 May 2026* Well packaged works great ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product, good price *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 19 January 2019* Use in a 20 year old magnifying circlite bench lamp in my workshop. Broke the last tube with the recoil of a solder extractor gun, but got this quickly and at a sensible price. Worked first time, good steady light, nice daylight colour (useful for reading resistor colour bands, true colours). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good bulb - but too bright! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 September 2017* I really like the bulb and it is as advertised... daylight! But as the rest of my lighting is warm white 3000K, and this is really bright daylight, it really stands out.Perfect bulb if you're looking for a daylight bulb! (my mistake - I needed warm white!) ## Frequently Bought Together - Sylvania Circular 22W 8" Daylight 865 - Philips Eco-Click Starter S 10 4-65 W Double Blister Pack - Sylvania T9 Circular 22w Magnifier Lamp Warm White (3000k) Fluorescent Tube, GR10q, 23 W --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/48590472-sylvania-circular-22w-8-daylight-865](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/48590472-sylvania-circular-22w-8-daylight-865) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
