Gerard Butler stars in this surfing drama. Santa Cruz teenager Jay Moriarty (Jonny Weston) discovers that the Mavericks surf break, one of the biggest waves on Earth, exists only a few miles from his home. LOVE this film, it is such a great story and you don't have to be into surfing to enjoy it. Excellent acting, sub stories going on throughout the film and lots of moments for laughing and tears. We've watching this many times but thought I'd finally review it.

What a film!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Surfer Movie.

Came across this Movie while browsing for 3D films. Three years since its release so was going for a great price. What a great choice as this is a great movie, based apparently on a true story. Well worth the purchase and the soundtrack, especially the tidal wave scenes, had my wireless sub-woofer working overtime.
