And any plants? If so don’t get it u1 you would be better off with a string ray filter stronger and more reliable, my u1 kept getting blocked and just gave up the ghost after 2 months. **Q: Can i use this as a second filter i am running a 207 at present can i run this with it** A: Yes, run it at bottom of tank, helps to pick up the crap of the bottom, try to form a litttle dip for to sit in so crap of bottom gets dragged to it, but will need cleaning often. **Q: is this filter ok in another fish tank thats not fluvel ?** A: Yes i got it in 2 of my 20l tanks and does a fantastic job, easy to clean and dont take too much space. **Q: I have a 40 litre tank! The filter itself is good this was a replacement from a U2 that wasn't really working. I went for the smaller one as that was all that's needed. Quiet operation and filter is easy to replace.
