Best to have the pins. **Q: Will these pins work for the onyx m-16 belt pack manual inflatable life jacket?** A: Yes it does. This pin only works with Halkey Roberts V85000, and 840AMU inflation mechanisms. However, OLDER inflation mechanisms may not work with this clip and require a different clip, number 8452AMA which I don't currently sell on Amazon. There is also a discontinued HENCO inflator out there that this clip won't fit and replacement clips for that mechanism have long since been discontinued as well.This green pin is somewhat poorly designed as the thin little pin can break easily, unlike the 8452AMA clip. **Q: Hi, can you take this on a plane? I want to use it for a vacation.** A: Yes. Only items containing CO2 can be of an issue.
