Review: Excellent technical reference - This book is really well written and fantastic as a technical reference. The pictures are carefully selected and easily convey the techniques used. My only critique and it's not really a critique, I would have liked a description on breakfalling like he did with throwing, locks, holds and chokes.

By far the best Judo book on the market. An absolute need for grading at every level. This is my second copy as the first was lost when I lent it to someone! Good description and explanation with English and Japanese terminology used.
