Review: Coffee beans - Great lovely tasting coffee the beans go great in my coffee machine makes a lovely latte and cappuccino lovely smoothness and lovely freshness Review: Exactly as described - I'm fairly new to Coffee Masters, I tried their Exclusive Master Blend first and thought that was bloomin fantastic and so for an everyday coffee I thought I'd give this a go. It arrives in nice strong brown paper packaging and was only roasted a month before my order, the roast date is clearly printed on the label (see photo). The beans are medium roast in colour and smaller than the Master Blend, they smell very rich and chocolatey with just a hint of smoke. I ground the beans to a medium texture and made coffee in my usual Melitta filter machine. The coffee produced is lovely and smooth, its also quite rich and I would say that chocolate is the dominant flavour along with a nice nuttiness. I don't get any of the fruity flavour as stated in the description, maybe I need to make an espresso to get that? Would I buy this again? Probably not. That's not to say this isn't good coffee, I think its very good and excellent value for money but having had the Exclusive Master Blend I think the complexity and clarity of flavours is worth the extra money. I'm going to happily try other blends from Coffee Masters and see how they compare.
