Each tub of peach and mango fragranced wax is enough for one full Brazilian wax or two to three bikini wax applications. Plus the wax kit includes cheeky templates so you can opt for a little tidy up, go completely bare, or totally personalise your bikini area! Be hair free for up to 8 weeks. Suitable for all skin types. Ideal for underarm, bikini and Brazilian. HOW TO USE: 1. Ensure the area is clean, dry and free of oils and moisturisers. Hair needs to be a minimum of 3mm or 1/8 inch long. If much longer, trim to this length. 2. Heat the wax tub in the microwave (Refer to heating guide in product leaflet). Do not heat the wax tub with the applicator or any other object in it. 3. Gently touch the jar to check that it is not too hot to handle. Carefully remove the jar from the microwave, keeping it upright at all times to prevent spillage. 4. Leave to stand for one minute to ensure heat diffuses throughout. Gently stir the product until it is the consistency of thick honey without any solid areas. WARNING: IF THE WAX IS LIQUID OR BUBBLING, IT HAS BEEN OVERHEATED. Hold skin taut with one hand and then lift the end of the wax with the fingers of your free hand. Grip the wax and with one quick motion, remove the wax close and parallel to the skin in the opposite direction of hair growth. Do not re-use the wax or re-wax if skin is red and irritated. I have no idea where to two minute heating guideline comes in but I treat it like a fudge pot and check it every minute by trying to stir it with the spatula until the consistency looks good. Year it on the side of your wrist first so you don't burn yourself It should be runny but not watery hot. The wax can sometimes take a little longer ... *by N***I on 4 November 2016* I've been getting Brazilian waxes at salons for quite a while but they can be a rather costly every few weeks so I decided to try this out at the recommendation of a beautician and I can say that it'll be a while before I go back to the salon. While I don't quite get the exact same result as the salon, for an at home kit you really can't get much better. The wax can sometimes take a little longer to heat up that the instructions state so you do have to keep checking and heating but it's a small issue. While a wax is never going to be completely pain free this is relatively painless (although I do have a fairly high pain threshold) and I can normally get it done within half an hour, again this is longer than at the salon but it's much cheaper. It does only come with 2 spreaders which I think is too few (I bulk bought some spreaders separately), I can't comment on the stickers for shaping as I've never used them but the wax itself is very good, smells pleasant and takes off most of the hair in one strip. This is hard wax, which I prefer for bikini waxing as it is less painful. One problem I often have is that the wax hardens up quite quickly so you do have to keep heating it up, and this seems to get worse after each use of the wax.
