Review: Luxury bedding, according to someone who eats dandelions off the floor - I brought this for my tortoise Lord Crumpet who has the lifestyle expectations of a retired billionaire and the speed of continental drift. Before this bedding arrived he slept on his old substrate with the quiet resentment of a man wronged by society. Now? He has become unbearable. He walks onto it slowly turns in three full circles like he is aligning himself with ancient cosmic forces and then lowers himself down with the ceremony of a king being buried with treasure. Sometimes he just stands there. Not sleeping. Just..standing. Feeling it. Yesterday I caught him digging dramatically and then sitting in the hole he made staring at me like, “Yes. I did this. This is my architecture.” He has never paid rent. He contributes nothing to the household. And yet this bedding has given him confidence. He is softer. Happier. More powerful. I, meanwhile sleep on a mattress from 2007. Would absolutely buy again. Although I suspect he now believes he deserves silk sheets and a personal butler.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How big area would l one bag covers?**
A: My enclosure is 70cm x 48cm this give it a good thick covering . Hope this helps

**Q: Is this suitable for rabbits? The product I use looks similar, but it is not currently available.**
A: I would think so. It’s supposed to have gone through dust removal and it’s just hay made into a pellet so should be safe!

**Q: Does this bedding smell?**
A: When you first take it out the bag yes but after that no. I was advised to change my torts bedding once every 3-4 month and this does the job everytime.  No smell even before its due to be changed!

**Q: Is this okay for my harman tortoise**
A: Hi Enya, Although I have a Horsfield Tortoise who gets on very well with this material, I can't see any reason to think why it wouldn't be just as good for a Herman Tortoise. However, they are probably use to more sand and soft material underfoot. All tortoises like to dig and climb and I believe this material helps exercise.
