The key fobs shown are actually pretty good quality and note: they DO have batteries already installed.The unit itself is a little flimsy and just snaps shut. There isn't a sufficiently large opening for all the necessary wires you'll need to put in the block connector and I just cut some of the plastic away. The key fobs come already paired and work in step mode (on/off) by default, which is what most people will need. Wiring is simple and the instructions are slightly better than the normal Chinglish you get. I have my unit installed in the boot space of my BMW where the battery is and have no problems with the signal getting through.
