However I bought this for my parents for Christmas, didn’t think of checking in the box…. Sadly it came with a US plug not UK. Technically this is not a proper review as it’s not able to be used! Rather disappointed, will be returning, but unable to replace this as currently unavailable. So for the plug issue I am giving only 2 stars! Review: Heats fast, displays temperature accurately, reaches and holds preset temp - The headline summarizes my initial experience with this kettle. I tested the displayed temperature using a ThermaPro Dot, and found essentially no difference other than a small time lag when the water was heating or cooling. (Which I don't find surprising or concerning; this isn't a lab instrument.) I drink coffee I prepare in a coffee press, and I find that I like the coffee much better if I use water at 200 deg. My family also drinks various kinds of tea, ranging from black teas that we like to prepare using water at the boil, as well as various green and herbal teas that ideally want cooler temperatures. This kettle meets all those needs, and allows us to get the water to the desired temperature and avoid guesswork. My somewhat minor criticisms are: (1) It would have been better to have separate displays for the target and current temps, having the one display do both jobs makes it confusing sometimes. (2) The buttons for the various presets should really show the target temp, not beverage labels. Or maybe show both. (3) The little plastic doohickey inside to show the water level, and the plastic-enclosed strainer that sits in it, are both unnecessary. Fortunately they're not hard to remove, although that does leave a big open spout that you have to be careful about when pouring. (The water level shows quite clearly from outside on the back.) Overall I'm happy with this product, and recommend it if you're fussy about getting the water temp right for your hot beverages. I think the price is quite reasonable, especially when compared with other kettles that have preset target temps and current temp display. ## Features - 7 ONE-TOUCH PRESETS: Brew at the perfect temperature for Green Tea, White Tea, Oolong Tea, Black Tea, Herbal Tea, and Coffee, or simply Boil for any other needs. - RAPID BOIL: Boil 1 cup of water in as little as 90 seconds. - HOLD TEMPERATURE SETTING: Keeps water at the selected preset for up to 30 minutes. - MANUAL TEMPERATURE CONTROL: Customize your water temperature for any drink type. - EASY-TO-USE DISPLAY: Illuminated display helps you easily choose your desired preset and features a live temperature reading..7-CUP CAPACITY: Heat a single cup or fill to the MAX to make enough for a whole family..ILLUMINATED WATER WINDOW: Easily view when it is time for a refill..EASY TO CLEAN: Wide lid access and a removable scale filter make for an easy clean..WHAT'S INCLUDED: 1500-watt precision temperature kettle, removable scale filter, and power base with cord storage. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B098TQJJJ1 | | Best Sellers Rank | 2,039,577 in Home & Kitchen ( See Top 100 in Home & Kitchen ) 2,384 in Electric Kettles | | Brand | Ninja | | Brand Name | Ninja | | Cable Length | 31.5 Inches | | Capacity | 56 Fluid ounces | | Colour | Stainless Steel | | Container Type | Kettle | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 774 Reviews | | Finish Type | Stainless | | Global Trade Identification Number | 10622356569481 | | Included Components | 1500-watt precision temperature electric kettle, Power base with cord storage, Removable scale filter | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 23.9L x 19.2W x 24.5H centimetres | | Item Type Name | Precision Temperature, 1500 watts, BPA Free, Stainless, 7-Cup Capacity, Hold Temp Setting, Silver | | Item Weight | 3.79 Pounds | | Manufacturer | SharkNinja | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Features | durable, corrosion-resistant, and easy to clean | | Model Name | Ninja KT200 Electric Kettle | | Model Number | KT200 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Programmable | | Package information | Kettle | | Part Number | KT200 | | Product Care Instructions | Hand wash | | Recommended Uses For Product | Hot beverage preparation | | Special feature | Programmable | | UPC | 622356569484 | | Unit Count | 7.0 count | | Voltage | 120.0 | | Wattage | 1500 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Ninja - **Capacity:** 56 Fluid ounces - **Colour:** Stainless Steel - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Special feature:** Programmable ## Images ![Ninja KT200 Precision Temperature Electric Kettle, 1500 watts, BPA Free, Stainless, 7-Cup Capacity, Hold Temp Setting, Silver, KT200 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51g27E+7+FL.jpg) ![Ninja KT200 Precision Temperature Electric Kettle, 1500 watts, BPA Free, Stainless, 7-Cup Capacity, Hold Temp Setting, Silver, KT200 - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51JaNzJhTtL.jpg) ![Ninja KT200 Precision Temperature Electric Kettle, 1500 watts, BPA Free, Stainless, 7-Cup Capacity, Hold Temp Setting, Silver, KT200 - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/514KK241wDL.jpg) ![Ninja KT200 Precision Temperature Electric Kettle, 1500 watts, BPA Free, Stainless, 7-Cup Capacity, Hold Temp Setting, Silver, KT200 - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51QQcn0CvWL.jpg) ![Ninja KT200 Precision Temperature Electric Kettle, 1500 watts, BPA Free, Stainless, 7-Cup Capacity, Hold Temp Setting, Silver, KT200 - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51xDYtY0PwL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the minimum temperature?** A: 105 **Q: What part of the kettle prompts the prop 65 warming?** A: Not sure, it is usually plactic parts, I think. So when you fill the pot, there is a plastic max fill make. **Q: Exactly how long is the cord, please? Some reviews say it could be longer, but I'd like to know the actual length. Thanks!** A: The cord is approximately 33" long from where it comes out the back of the unit to the tips of the plug prongs. **Q: Are there any plastic components in contact with water? if so, are they bpa free?** A: there is a filter part on side of the opening inside which is plastic Not sure about BPA free ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐ Looks good. *by M***. on 30 December 2022* The kettle looks good and the reviews I read are great.
