An 85% score gets you a chichuahua, while a score of 90% right answers gets you a Golden retriver and a perfect score of 100% gets you a Great Dane (and your going to need alot of pee pads for that big'un along with a shovel. **Q: Would this pad work in a pet carrier? We will be traveling for up to four hours with kittens.** A: Yes these work, but would slide around with the animals movement. **Q: Can anyone compare these to the Top dog xl pads from petsmart? I've used those for years & they recently changed and are not as absorbant as the orig.** A: We’ve used these pad for almost seven years. So sorry to admit that these pads have also changed and not for the better. NOW they DO leak. We’ve been using the XL pads for our small rat terrier as a back up for rainy days or when unable to get her outside. We place them in our extra-large shower, the reason for using size XL. The pads USED TO BE the best we used; however NOW they are lighter and less absorbent than stated in the ad. (I compared the current ones with a box I found in storage… not as thick, a bit smaller, and have black spots in the white padding..) Another problem is that they used to eliminate odor better. I too am looking for a better and affordable product, that unfortunately may no longer be available (inflation / greed). But, they are still doing the job except the for the leaking, especially near the edges. Still great for the poo. **Q: Can I use this as a lining in my guinea pig cage?** A: I have use similar ones and they make cleaning so much easier! I’m not sure why people keep saying you can’t use them. They make the exact same thing for guinea pig cages...... the only difference is it’s a picture of a guinea pig on the cover instead of a dog...... it’s been safe for ours. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worth the money *by M***N on 15 September 2026* Solid pads, no complaints ★★★★★ Wasn't expecting much but these actually deliver. I use them for linning the bottom of my Parrots cages .. as they are super absorbing and a gredt size for the bottom of theyre cages .. easy just to roll and dispose of in the bin .. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Useful but not for large volume of liquid *by D***V on 28 August 2026* These are great. Cheaper than my usual brand and definitely slightly thinner on the padding. But for my purposes are great. Useful for small amounts of liquid but not for high volume. Good absorbency but not thick padding so volume limited. Good odour control but again , not in large quantities or over a long period of time. More of a grab and bin when used. ## Frequently Bought Together - Amazon Basics Absorbent, Leak-Proof Dog and Puppy Pee Pads with 5-Layer Design and Quick-Dry Surface for Potty Training, Standard Absorbency, Regular Size, 22 x 22 Inch - Pack of 50, Blue & White - Amazon Basics Everyday Paper Plates, 8.62 Inch, Disposable, 100 Count - Amazon Basics 2-Ply Soft Toilet Paper, 6 Rolls (1 Pack of 6), Equivalent to 37 Regular Rolls, Packaging May Vary --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/48179740-amazon-basics-puppy-training-pads-5-layer-leakproof-design-quick](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/48179740-amazon-basics-puppy-training-pads-5-layer-leakproof-design-quick) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
