Review: Robust and practical, reasonable size - My kid got one of these as a gift and has become quite attached to it. Unfortunately, lost it at a festival. Fortunately this exact model was available on desertcart and we were thus able to get a replacement. The spring loaded flippy lid is quite satisfying, the locking latch works well, and the carrying tab is practical. The bottle is wide-mouthed enough for easy cleaning, and wide enough to get ice cubes in. Super handy little water bottle, recommended!
Review: Perfect bottles - Love these bottles, really easy to clean, dishwasher proof and double lock too so the lid won’t open accidentally, also has a handy clip out handle so easy to carry, doesn’t leak and is tough so will withstand being dropped …so perfect all round.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is Recyclon?**
A: Recyclon is a transparent bio-based plastic. Made with plant biomass materials, it also has a lower melting point, which reduces energy used in manufacturing and recycling. Recyclon is a safe material for food containers.

**Q: Can you give me tips on using my ION8 OneTouch bottle?**
A: When drinking, you only need to tilt a little, as the spout is positioned to flow perfectly with a minimal tilt. Even a leak-proof bottle can leak if seals are lost or removed. Always check all seals are in place. Spares are readily available.

**Q: How much water do I need to be well hydrated?**
A: The EU recommends 2 to 2.5 liters of fluids daily for adults, including water from food. Aim for 6-8 glasses of water or other beverages. Individual needs vary based on factors like size, age, activity level, climate, and health status.

**Q: How do I clean my ION8?**
A: Before use always rinse the water bottle and cap with cool water. After use always rinse in warm water and dish soap only. You can use the dishwasher in the top rack or on a cool wash. Air dry thoroughly before storing and always store with cap off.

**Q: How do I care for my ION8 bottle?**
A: Do not use brushes or abrasives to scrub, do not freeze when full, do not boil or microwave, do not use for carbonated drinks, do not use in a dishwasher on a very hot wash. Always ensure your leak-proof seals are in place.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect bottles

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent quality water bottle for school
*by I***E on 14 June 2026*

I bought the blue Ion8 bottle for my son to use at school and have been really impressed with it. I chose the plain design because it looked high quality and I wanted something that would last as he grows rather than a character bottle that he'd eventually outgrow. It's simple and easy to use, fits nicely in his school bag, so definitely a good size for school or trips, and the handle is handy for carrying or clipping onto a bag. We've had it for a while now and it's held up really well. I also love that it doesn't have a straw, as they're often difficult to clean and can end up getting mouldy. It's dishwasher safe, easy to clean, and feels much more durable than the cheaper supermarket bottles we've used in the past. Definitely worth the investment.
