You need to buy a safety helmet with a built on visor instead. This is far face protection only as far as I can tell from using it **Q: Does it need to attach to a helmet or do you wear it as it is?** A: it is a stand alone item, just stick it on and tighten the wheel at the back. No need for anything else.
